This hostel has an unbeatable vibe and offers the best location in NYC. After a day of exploring, the bar became a quick favorite. Grab a beer and enjoy the ambiance! Just remember to ask the staff any questions you have upfront to ensure clarity on all services.

The private bathroom in our 4-bed dorm worked perfectly for our family with a toddler. Plus, the roof terrace served as a great space for evening relaxation after exploring the vibrant surroundings.

My kids wished there were more activities specifically for families.

The food scene nearby is lit! Savanna Rooftop's vibes are tough to beat, while Jassi's World Famous Deli dishes up delish sandwiches that'll have you coming back for more. Plus, the common areas are decorated with flair, and the rooftop view is perfect for chilling out after a long day exploring NYC.

But let's spill the tea on the disorganized staff-hurdles at check-in and hidden fees had me feeling unwelcome. And can we talk about how the manager called the cops on me? Such a vibe killer when all I wanted was to feel at home. Still, I made the best of it.

The hotel was super cozy and warm, especially the lobby where i could relax and chat with other guests. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the subway. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Definitely a great choice for solo travelers!

Had an awesome group trip with friends. We loved the vibrant rooftop and enjoyed watching a live band. The nearby subway made it super easy to explore, and the kitchen was handy for late-night snacks. Beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was chill. Plus, every room had air conditioning, which we appreciated during the heat.

The only downside was the limited number of toilets on our floor. At times, we had to wait to use them.

The location of the hotel is ideal, with easy access to multiple subway stations. It is only a few stops away from popular tourist attractions such as Times Square and Grand Central Station. The hotel is also conveniently located near the riverbank, offering a pleasant view.

The size of the rooms and the limited space in the shower room could be improved.

As a woman traveling alone, I loved the friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms with fresh bedding, and the separate bathroom just for my room. The kitchen facilities were great for cooking and storing food, and the dining tables were perfect for enjoying a meal. The atmosphere at The Local was amazing, with great vibes, music, and a cozy lounge to relax in. The location near the Queens Bridge and subway stations made it easy to explore Manhattan and there were supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes within walking distance. I felt safe and had a fantastic stay.
